1.   Daily cleaning and dusting

Weekly dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth or vacuum cleaner (equipped with a soft-bristled brush head) to gently wipe the surface of the sofa to remove dust and fine particles.   Avoid wiping directly with a damp cloth or chemically containing detergents.

Regular Deep Cleaning: Use a professional leather cleaner for a deep clean every month, the detergent should be evenly applied to a soft cloth before wiping, avoiding direct spraying.   Thoroughly clean once a year, using a professional dermal cleaner and care for it.

2.   Stain treatment

Minor stains: Immediately wipe with a damp soft cloth dipped in warm water at 40°C, then use a dry cloth to absorb the water.   Avoid rubbing too hard to prevent the stain from spreading.

Grease or stubborn stains: Blot excess grease with a clean, soft cloth and then treat locally with a special leather cleaner.   Avoid using corrosive products such as soapy water, dish soap, etc.

Ballpoint pen/ink stains: You can use a soft eraser to wipe lightly, and then apply leather protective liquid to prevent secondary pollution.

3.   Environmental control

Avoid direct sunlight : Long-term exposure to the sun can cause the skin to fade, harden and even crack.   It is advisable to draw the curtains or adjust the position of the sofa.

Keep ventilated and dry: Humid environment is easy to cause mildew, the ideal humidity is 40%-60%.   Avoid the sofa against the wall or air conditioning vents.

Keep away from high temperature heat sources: In winter, avoid direct baking in the sun, heater, etc., to prevent the loss of cortical moisture.

4.   Regular maintenance

Conditioner Use: Wipe every 2-3 months with a special leather conditioner to form a protective film and keep the leather soft.

Mechanical maintenance: Tap the edge of the seat after sitting for a long time to help restore the shape;   Avoid concentrated compression of heavy objects.

5.   Contraindications

Do not use waxy treatments or alcohol: it can clog pores or corrode the cortex.

Avoid contact with sharp objects: The leather is easy to be scratched, so it is recommended to lay a soft cushion to protect it.

Key to the first maintenance: The new sofa needs to be cleaned with a towel wrung out with water, and then immediately apply a conditioner to form a protective film.
